The Brief:
This project required major facade retention, which involved the keeping of the listed facade, top floor and roof and the demolition of the entire structure down to basement level and the reconstruction of the new building.
The Project Involved:
- Structure demolition of 5 floors
- New structure including new slabs and external walls
- Refurbishment of existing facade including all windows
- Installation of new vault
- Installation of new glass feature elevator
- Structural feature staircase wrapping glass shaft
- Mechanical and electrical installation
